Svarak CUP 01

Prvni (muzeme rict i vykopavaci) setkani u svaraku, nazvane sportovne Svarak CUP, je za nama. Po nultem rocniku, kdy bylo opravdu hnusne, neslibovala predpoved o moc lepsi vyhlidky. Nakonec... no bylo zima, ale neprselo a tomu uz se rika uspech! Ti, co meli fistron, si pridali jednu tepelnou vrstvu navic, aby jim nezalezalo za nehty, a ti ostatni to dohnali nejakym tim horkym kaliskem navic. Cestu z Vaclavskeho namesti pres namesti Staromestske "az" na Namesti Republiky jsme zvladli vic nez dobre a nekteri se jeste posleze odebrali do prilehleho baru. Prikladam par fotografii a treba na nich pribidou pristi rok i dalsi tvare :::

Predvanocni Viden

"Rodinka" naplanovala cestu do Vidne za kulturou a tak jsme podnikli 2-denni vylet spojeny s navstevou vanocnich trhu, svarakem, puncem, cukrovim, bratwurstem a jinou kulturni potravou :o) Pocasi bylo nadherne slunecne/zimni a na chozeni po videnskych pamatkach jak delane. Na druhy den jsme zvladli videt i prave probihajici vystavu ve videnske galerii Albertina s nazvem Impresionismus - Jak se svetlo platna dotklo. Vystava prinasi zajimavy pohled na historii vzniku, techniky a zpusobu impresionisticke malby. Nechybi obrazy od Moneta, Pissarra, Gauguina, Maneta, Renoira, van Gogha ci Toulouse-Lautreca. Obrnte se trpelivosti a asertivitou pred mnozstvim lidi, jenz se kolem Vas smykaji a komentuji skoro kazdy obraz svymy vylevy! Kdyz pominu tenhle nesvar, je to moc hezka vystava a ve spojeni s atmosferou nadchazejicich vanoc, prijemna zmena :::

Chcete od zivota prilis?

Nevim jak Vam, ale me se to nestava casto, ze by me nekdo prinesl clanek, at si jej prectu. Tento tyden Barunka jeden takovy prinesla. Nasla jej v praci na nastence v miste, kde ma nove pracoviste v ramci operace 'skatulata hejbejte se' (stehovani ve firme). Nejdriv ten clanek lezel doma na stole nejaky den, nez jsem jej jednou sebral, ze se snad cestou kamsi... zactu. Uprimne receno me ten clanek nadchnul! Vyzrazovat obsah anebo vytvaret k tomu komentar by nebylo prave nejvhodnejsi. Zajimavejsi me prislo, kdyz jej vyvesim sem na blog a treba si jej nekdo precte taky jen tak, anebo taky ne :::

Dlouhy vikend...

Ac bylo ve stredu volno, porad jsme meli napilno a co delat. Zdalo se, ze budem mit trochu volneji, ale to ne! Ve ctvrtek se poustime do dvou dyni, co jsme si privezli z Tuklat a uz to jede... Blizi se Halloween a tak nezbyva nez dyne "otevrit", vydlabat a vyrezat, at zari a odhani zle skritky >:o] nebo vita pozustale? No my moc dobre nevime, jak to nakonec dopadlo, protoze jsme se v patek vypravili do Trebone na maly lazensky pobyt do Bertinych lazni, ktery jsme obdrzeli jako dar ke svatbe, jupi. Venku je nevlidno a tak to zaroven vitame, ze si trochu odpocinem a vypadnem z mesta. Na vecer uz prochazime podzimni Treboni a hledame si mistecko na nejakou rybi namku. Nakonec zakotvime v Myslivecke restauraci a davame si candata a pstruha. Nam nam... rybi polevka, rybicka, desert... uff uff, uz se ani nehnem a po tom vsem cestovani a narocnem tydnu nas to nejak uonda. Sobotni rano zaspime snidani, ktera se podava jiz od 6:45! No neda se nic delat, tak se vydavame do mesta na prochazku parky vcetne toho zameckeho, mestem a podel slavneho rybnika Svet ke Schwarzenberske hrobce [pozn. Baru: tam nam malem umrzly prdky:( bohuzel alternativni prohlidka pivovaru je jen pro 10 a vice osob:(] apod. V odpolednich hodinach mame [no spise Jena] najeke procedury jako podvodni masaz, bylinkova koupel, rosen spa (opet koupel, tentokrat s vytazkem ze slatinnych bahen), rucni masaz ci bazen s vyrivkou. To by jeden nerek, jak vsechno to machani ve vode utaha. Ale mame hladik, tak si vyrazime na vecu, tentokrat napul rybi (pstruh na jiny zpusob nez den predtim) a napul hovezi (steak potesi vzdy a za kazdeho pocasi). A tim sobota vicemene konci :o) uz jen pohadka...[cetla Barunka] S nedeli si privstanem, at stihneme vylov rybnika Dvoriste (treti nejvetsi rybnik Trebonske oblasti). Jsme opravdu radi, ze to stihame! [narozdil od lonskeho roku, kdy jsme k jednomu rybniku u Telce dorazili jak se rika "s krizkem po funuse"] ...U rybarske basty a hraze se pilne taha za site a rybky skacou z kade do kade podle toho, jak je mistri sveho remesla roztridili. Vedle toho vseho se to hemzi stanky s horkou medovinou, smazenymi rybami (vyborne jsou kapri hranolky, nejlepe rovnou od stanku slavne Supiny!) az po prazene orisky, uzene syry a uzeniny, vino, limo, pivo. Po 2 hodinach jsme promrzli jak se patri. K vylovu patri predavsim kaprik, tak si jednoho 3,3kg kupujeme s sebou, at je na co vzpominat [..a co v nedeli vecer cistit, porcovat...Bravo, muzi muj!]. V laznich nas ceka obidek a po nem prijemne vyhrata sauna na 100*C a tak si v ni pekne lebedime, nez definitivne opustime Trebon smer domu. Bylo to narocne, ale pekne. Mulda & company . 2009

Nachlup presne, dalo by se rici, jsme vyrazili po roce znova na Muldu do Pece pod Snezkou. Sestava byla vicemene stejna jako rok predesly tj. Maty, Anezka, Filip, Vilem, Marek, Barca a ja plus nove Martin. Ac v Krkononosich napadlo pred tydnem 70cm noveho snehu a na vrcholcich jeste vice, meli jsme se snehem o vikendu jen pocatecni potiz pri pokusu vyject na chatu v patek vecer (neuspesne). Jako jiz minuly rok i letos nas prekvapila neuveritelne vytecna kuchyne a to jidlem o trech chodech, po kterem se jen zaprasi, ale zaroven mate pocit, ze ted je nejvyssi cas obsadit nejakou lenosku a nic nedelat!

Sobotni program nas nasmeroval na hreben smer Lucni bouda. Dole v udoli se valela mlha a my se ji uspesne vyhybali az na par momentu, tj. temer porad nam svitilo slunicko a proto nas i ta prochazka v tezkem snehu bavila. Potkali jsme i par bezkaru, nicmene to jeste nebylo 100%ni. Lucni bouda nas privitala na pozdni obed plnou naruci a my si odnaseli plna bricha-cha s sebou zpet ve dvou smerech. Jedni cestou na Snezku a lanovkou zpatky do Pece a ti druzi pres Vyrovku na Richterovi boudy. Z Pece opet vyslap na Muldu a to rovnou k veceri. Pan spravce si nas pekne podal a po polivce a hlavnim chodu, kdyz uz vsichni funeli, prihopkal s ovocnymi knedliky jako zakuskem, ze pry nas to odnauci chodit pozde na veceri ;o)
Vecer byl v totalnim utlumu, az to skoncilo na par partiich fotbalku, cteni casopisu a nakonec malem krouzku priznivcu stolni hry Boggle. Ti si take vychutnali preklopeni letniho casu na zimni a pak uz sli spat...

Nedelni prochazka byla o neco malo kratsi a to vyslapem na Cernou horu a zpet. Pocasi nam opet pralo a tak si to vsichni vychutnavali az do navratu, kdy to nejednoho zmohlo natolik, ze si pekne drcnul v postylce pred sestupem do udoli a odjezdem domu. Bylo nadherne, tak mrknete na fotky :::

Prekvapeni jsou nejkrasnejsi necekana. Jeden takovy moment si pro nas pripravili Stefi a Paja, kdyz prohrabli a postahovali od kamaradu nase fota s Barunkou a vytvorili tuhle slideshow. Da se rict, ze ji spichli jen tak tak - dokoncovali jeste behem rannich hodin a za pomoci Davida S. behem svatebni hostiny! Neuveritelne!

Prague to Padang Bai

Hello there Party Animals & Similar & Other;-) So let us finally tell you a bit about our honey-moon so far (we know you understand & forgive us the not-getting on i-net earlier than this - in the end, the most important is to make enough time for... & for....It's honey-moon time!!!;-)))

So we left Prague tiredly (no surprise after all the W-minus & W-plus parties;-))) on Wednesday the 15th of July & we headed to Bangkok via Kiev. We thought it's Aeroflot we're flying with but in the end it was the Czech Airlines to Kiev & Aerosvit to Bankgkok. The best part of the trip consisted of two things: first we bumped into an Irish Pub at the Kiev airport terminal (& this after me whining to Rob about how much I miss the Guiness;-))) & then Libor from Dublin (now living in Helsinky but returning from a business trip to Kiev) bumped into us & invited us for a pint! ;-))) What a beginning of our chilli-lala (as we now call it) honeymoon! ;-)

On Thursday July 16th at 3:30 a.m. we reached Bangkok. By the time we got our stuff together (including city map & transport info) it was 6 a.m. so we set out for the big city! First time there for both of us, we followed our intuition & strolled incidentally towards some beautiful temples & a statue of King Rama III. (one of the greatest kings ever, we've heard!). Rama III, especially if you greet him & give him your thanks, brings good things about...so here was a good soul who explained to us there's a Buddhist Holiday on that day so most of the temples are to be seen free-of-charge (yet some are closed for prayer till the afternoon) & moreover, the Thai Export Company sponsors the tuk-tuks (their three-wheelers) gas so tourist can get on board for 10 bahts (as opposed to the regular price of 500 bahts) & the tuk-tuk guys take them around all the different temples! Wow, what a deal we thought as he introduced it in such a way & drew us a map with the order we should follow...;-) Off we went from temple to temple, from Big Buddha to Lucky Buddha to Black Buddha & to another Lucky Buddha etc. until the driver started to drag us to the jewelry shops (all duty free special offer that day, of course;-) as that was where he got coupons for the gas - 1 if we peeped inside & 5 if we spent considerable amount of money. As you can guess, we did not spent big money anywhere & we refused to continue shopping or shop-peeping so soon enough the tuk-tuk guy drove away without telling us & same happened with the next one we caught;-)

Anyway, jet-leggedness kicking in we took a nap on the Royal Grounds (we thought it's a park, but it was a dry-mud & mess place) & off we were to the airport & Bali...

Bali the Paradise!!!

We started off by exploring the famous (or notorious) Kuta & as we thought Bangkok was really busy, we felt Kuta is a just a tiny version of Bangkok or perhaps Rome. Everybody drives a motocycle there! (Running on Absolute Petrol!!!;-))) It's really wicked! Beware, accomodations is quickly gone, you better look for it before noon; the Sunset BBQ can only be enjoyed during the sunset - you won't get a grilled corn before or after it; & the famous sunset happens around 6 p.m. so don't think you've got plenty of time if you're taking a nap at 3 p.m. (we slept through the sunset;-) & one more thing - if you like chilli like we & Balinese do - learn the miraculous word "sambal" (but it comes with pretty much everything so you can't miss it;-)

Saturday July 18th we dipped into the sea here for the first time & then took off eastward for Sanur to meet up with our friend Joska Skalnik (aka Mr. Blue;-) & his family. What a wonderful place they were staying at - no wonder they are in love with Bali! Being it Joska we were visiting, it came as no surprise that he & his wife were immediately taking us to a party & what a party that was! The Yak Awards 2009 - great food (best Bali chefs), great drinks (welcome vodka with some incredible juice or smthg;-), great Bali trad dancers, great DJs...or simply as some friends of ours would put it: sex, drugs & rock'n'roll! ;-))) Following this fun party where we met wonderful friends of Kaca & Joska, friends who actually stand behind the Yak magazine (Yak is so complex & covering so many topics that you should check it out here instead of me describing it;-), we had a little afterparty in a similar group of friends & we hung out a bit around Sanur & it's beaches...a blast with the local kids, local food, local windmills making amazing noises;-)

Monday July 20th we took a "taksi" to Padang Bai, where we still are;-) On the way here, we stopped at a bat temple, Goa Lawah, where you can see not only one of the most important Bali coast temples, but also a cave full of all kinds of bats...the smell there is unmistakable & unmissable;-))) Padang Bai lies northeast of Denpasar, it is a place many primarily visit just to set off for Lombok or the Gili Islands. However, many others head here because of the incredible diving that is to be experienced here & many of these (like us;-) head directly to the OK Divers base - the home of Radka & Adam Malec, famous Czecho-Slovak divers & the awesomest instructors!!!;-))) (We are doing the Open Water Diver course so we know what we're speaking about! ;-) So, yeah, we kind of got stuck here after doing the Intro to diving & falling in love with the underwater world - allt he corals & fish & Honza being so funny under water;-))) The Blue Lagoon, however, is excellent for simple snorkeling that we've started with, the White Sandy Beach, on the other hand, has white sand (surprising, hah!;-) & amazing waves - so in other words, Padang Bai is not only about diving! Everywhere in Padang Bai (which is just a little harbour) there's great food to be found in restaurants & street stalls (especially tasty fresh fish, naturally) & there's a couple of night bars with live music too (one live music venue per night as the bars are so close to each other that they would otherwise be heavily disturbing one another;-). Naturally, there are also some buddhist temples & a lot of jukungs (typical boats - see below) on the harbour beach. What else to say? We've said more than enough already - sorry for such a long post - but we probably won't write again soon so let us just add:

We are staying in a nice bungalow with a terrible breakfast, we have a mosquito net over our bed that looks like canopies (we feel like royalty;-) but smells:(, we have a big pool in the garden but it's only being constructed so it's full of fresh cement & workers;-) & best of all, we have a second home in Padang Bai at the OK Divers base (100 meters from our bungalow;-) - coffee & water any time of the day, hammocks or gazebo to hang out or study the diving manual;-), Czech pub (also run by the Malecs) with Czech cuisine and more! Thanks so much to Radka & Adam for their hospitality & thanks to Stepan for his "people & place to visit" recommendation! We think of you, Salami on Tree! ;-))) & the rest of you, you better head here soon, it's more than worth the trip! [When you do, don't forget to bring Tuzemak for Radka's baking!;-)))]

By the time we speak to you next, we might have dived around the Liberty wreck in Tulamben, visited the beautiful coast of Amed & Jemeluk, seen the art & traditions of Ubud, climbed the highest mountain of Bali - Gunung Agung, rode bikes among the ricefields...Let's see where the wind takes us...as we've decided not to "push the wind" ever again;-))) [Hello to Bill & thank you for your Balinese & other wisdom;-)]

Oh..& in case we've forgotten to mention something that might interested you (like e.g. the local temperature = around 30 degrees Celsius;-) just post a question into the comments, we'll get back to you at some point between further discoveries, more good food & final surfing in Kuta before heading to Java! :::

Krom toho, že tam budete Vy, na což se faaaaaaaaaaakt hrozně moc těšíme a doufáme, že si to s námi náležitě užijete, tak kromě toho tam faaaaaaaaaaaakt bude ta výstavka, a to jak 10.7., tak 11.7. ..Tj. nezapomeňte vzít ty výtvory s sebou ("Spojte nás"), ať si pak netrháte vlasy, že jste přišli o možnost vyhrát zájezd na Bali!!!;-)))

Besides that you'll be there, which we're reaaaaaaaaaaaallyyyyyyyyy looking forward too!!! There will also reaaaaaaaaaallyyyyyyyyyyy be the exhibition of the "Connect us" work-of-art"/solutions - both on July 10th as well as on July 11th - so simply DON'T FORGET TO BRING IT WITH YOU so that you're not all desperate that you didn't try out for a trip to Bali for two!!!;-))))

Množí se dotazy na téma organizace Veselky a případných darů. Vězte, že už se nějakou dobu chystáme na to téma něco publikovat, ale znáte to ;) (neznáte ???) ....

Tak tedy bez okolků k věci:

10. července 2009 v pravé poledne na Vinici Sv. Kláry v pražské Troji proběhne svatební obřad, za 100% krásného počasí a ku radosti naší i Vaší. V úzkém rodinném kruhu, po boku s několika přáteli zůstáváme na Vinici Sv. Kláry, kde budeme mít společný oběd. V pozdějších odpoledních hodinách je ke svatebnímu veselí přizván kdokoli, kdo bude mít chuť si zatancovat, či se jinak s námi poradovat v Praze. Ty, jenž preferují méně oficiální způsob zábavy, rádi uvidime na svatebním mejdanu a to 11. července v pravé poledne na parkovišti zámku Konopiště ~ přítomen bude asistent, kterého určitě poznáte a kde se dozvíte více...

Další informace zatím nemůžeme - díky organizátorům happeningu, pánům M&M - prozrazovat! V případě naléhavých (ale opravdu naléhavých) dotazů, pište buď tady na blogu do komentářů, nebo - preferujete-li osobní přístup - pak pište na následující adresu M&M production, nebo volejte 737-242-419. Nicméně nebojte se vlka nic, další detaily budou následovat, a to dokonce v několika jazycích;-)

1) Moc si přejeme, aby naše svatba byla pro nás i pro Vás pohodová, příjemná, zábavná a ideálně také jedinečná a nezapomenutelná ;))) Jak v tomto směru přispět se svou troškou do mlýna je zcela jen ve Vaší moci, nápaditosti, angažovanosti atd.
Netřeba zmiňovat, že k dobré párty patří hry, tanečky, zpěv…ale také dobré jídlo a pití. My samozřejmě to gró pochutin (i tekutých přirozeně) zajistíme, ale málokdo pohrdne domácí nakládanou fetou či babiččiným štrůdlem apod. Stejně tak oceníme naplánovaní vtipných soutěží či nekonečný přednes o kvalitách našeho svazku ;))) Dary tohoto tipu je možno koordinovat přímo s námi (množství, časování…), ale mají-li být překvapením, pak, prosím, buď rovnou překvapte či koordinujte s vrchní koordinátorkou darů viz.níže.

2) Jak jistě víte, oba oceňujeme kreativitu a originalitu – nevejde-li se Váš nápad pod bod číslo 1), může se vejít na naší stěnu či jinam. Ale pozor – byt nemáme nafukovací a další čajový servis se sem nevejde, ani kdyby byl přímo z Vašich praciček!

3) Velmi krátce po svatbě se chystáme na honeymoon aka luna de miel aka svatební cestu ::: To bude taková druhá svatba ve stejným roce, takže příspěvky na cestu vítány a možno zasílat sem na č.ú.: 4274520001/5500

4) Nelíbí-li se Vám ani jeden z předchozích bodů, můžete se inspirovat následujícím seznamem, ze kterého ovšem v mnoha případech nutno vybírat ZA KOORDINACE s vrchní koordinátorkou darů viz.níže:

There are more & more how-will-it-all-be & what-do-you-want kind of questions & we've been wanting to put up posts that would encompass it all, so let's start with the gifts if you wish.

So let's dive into it:
On the 10th we’d love to see you at the Vineard of St. Clare in Prague, before noon as noon is when the ceremony starts. After the ceremony we’ll have a lunch with family & some of you, followed by a party where all of you can join again, if you wish to participate in this more formal part of the wedding. On the next day at noon again, the informal wedding bash starts at the parking lot of the Konopište Castle (more info to follow, top secret in the hands of the M&M Production for the moment) – this is just beneath one of our most visited castles in the country, full of Ferdinand d’Este memorabilia & close to Prague.

So keep your fingers crossed for our planning & organizing as we really want you all to have fun & enjoy your partying with us. If you happen to have time on your hands, feel free to volunteer as a helping hand;-)

In case you have urgent questions, feel free to post them here or write to M&M production.

1) We really really hope & want & wish that our wedding is relaxed & fun, & ideally, unique & unforgettable;))) The ways you can chip in/contribute to this end are manifold & completely up to you, your creativity, engagement, time-constraints etc. It needs no mentioning that a good party consists of games, singing, dances etc., but also good food & drink. We will, naturally, provide the gist of food & drinks, but nobody will reject homemade specialities & similar;-). Same as we will greatly appreciate funny competitions prepared from you for the rest, a funny song on how awesome Honza is etc.;))) One aspect that only you the foreigners can bring are your traditions, the varying ways of how you celebrate when you celebrate. Teach us your tradition - make the party special by adding a big of foreign flavour! This kind of gifts can be coordinated with us (amount, timing…), but if they should be a surprise, then feel free to surprise us or coordinate with the main Gifts Coordinator (see below for details).

2) As you surely know, we both appreciate creativity & originality – if your idea does not fit under 1), it can fit our wall or elsewhere. But careful please – our appartment has to fit a couple of kids too, so no more tea sets, not even made by you!

Hai cada vez máis e máis preguntas sobre cómo-será-todo e qué-queredes-de-regalo, e queremos poñervos este post para coordinar un pouco todo, así que comecemos polos regalos, se vos parece.

Imos directamente ao tema:

O día 10 desexaríamos vervos no Viñedo de Santa Clara en Praga, antes do mediodía porque a esa hora comeza a cerimonia. Por unha vez, sexamos todos puntuais! Despois da cerimonia, teremos un xantar coa familia e algúns de vós, seguido dunha festa na cal podedes participar todos, se vos apetece estar nesta parte máis formal da voda. Ao día seguinte e de novo a mediodía, comezan os festexos informais da voda, no parking do castelo de Konopiste (haberá máis información, de momento é un segredo nas mans de M&M Production) -Isto é, xunto a un dos castelos máis visitados do noso país, cheo de antigüidades de Ferdinand d'Este e preto de Praga.

Así que cruzade os dedos para que todo saia como o temos planeado e organizado, porque realmente queremos que disfrutedes desta festa connosco. Se resulta que ademais tedes tempo dispoñible, seredes ben recibidos como axudantes voluntarios para botar unha man.

Se tedes algunha pregunta urxente, sentídevos libres para deixarnos un comentario aquí mesmo ou escribide a M&M production.

1. Desexamos de todo corazón e queremos e gustaríanos e alegraríanos que a nosa voda resultara divertida e relaxada, ideal, única e inesquecible. Os xeitos de que contribuades a esta intención deixámolos enteiramente nas vosas mans, na vosa creatividade, dispoñibilidade de tempo, etc. Seguro que non é necesario mencionar que unha boa festa consiste para nós en xogos, bailes, cancións, etc, pero tamén en boa comida e bebida. Pos suposto, darémosvos comida e bebida a esgalla, pero non rexeitamos especialidades caseiras que cada un queira achegar ;-) Igualmente apreciaremos que preparedes divertidos xogos para todos, unha canción sobre o marabilloso que é Honza, etc. ;))) Un aspecto que só os de fóra podedes traer son as vosas tradicións, as distintas formas en que festexades e celebrades. Ensinádenos a vosa tradición e facede a festa especial engadindo un montón sabor foráneo!. Esta forma de regalo podédela coordinar connosco (cantidade, tempo, cousas que precisades), pero se queredes que sexa unha sorpresa, adiante, poñédevos en contacto cos Coordinadores de Regalos (ver detalles abaixo)
   

2. Como seguramente saberedes, ambos apreciamos a creatividade e a orixinalidade -se a vosa idea non encaixa no punto 1), pode encaixar na nosa parede ou en calquera outro lugar. Pero por favor, tede coidado, no noso apartamento terán que caber cando menos unha parella de meniños, así que non enviedes máis xogos de café, nin sequera feitos por vós!

Přátelé a kamarádi, v této sekci najdete potřebné informace o průběhu celé radostné události a také o jejích oslavách. Tedy informace o svatebním dni 10.7.2009 (pátek).

Svatební den, Pátek 10.7.2009

Místo: Vinice svaté Kláry, Troja

Čas: 12:00

Info: Obřad začíná v pravé poledne, je tedy lepší být na místě s dostatečným předstihem (Sally radí aspoň 30 minut). Po obřadu se plánuje foto všech svatebčanů a poté slavnostní oběd v úzkém rodinném kruhu. V pozdějších odpoledních hodinách (po 17:00) je ke svatebnímu veselí přizván kdokoli, kdo bude mít chuť si zatancovat, či se jinak s námi poradovat v Praze... Prostory Vinice sv.Kláry, jsou behěm svatby dostupné pro návštěvníky/účastníky svatby zdarma. V podvečerních hodinách, jsou prostory ohraničené bránou zamčeny a budou v rozmezí od 19h do cca 24h otevřeny hlídačem vždy jen v celou!!

Doprava: Místo už znáte. Možnosti jak se dopravit jsou dvojí. Automobilem, a to buď v koloně s ženichem či nevěstou, anebo po vlastní ose. Druhou možností je veřejná doprava a to nasledující: nejbližší dostupnou zastávkou metra je Nádraží Holešovice (trasa C) a dále pak autobusem č.112 do zastávky Kovárna, nebo Zoologická zahrada podle toho, odkud budete chtít do Vinice svaté Kláry vstoupit (doporučujeme Kovárnu). V obou případech budete stoupat vzhůru, protože vinice se nachází na kopci! Ze zastávky Kovárna uvidíte vinici a vchod do ní přímo. Ze zastávky Zoologická zahrada se vyrazí nahoru, přejde se šikmý přechod pro chodce a pokračujete vzhůru po „kozí stezce“, sledujíc ukazatele "Venkovní expozice/Vinice sv. Kláry".

Parkování: parkování přímo ve vinici je k dispozici pouze pro nevěstu a ženicha!! a stejně tak příjezd k vinici je obšancován zákazy vjezdu apod. Proto slyšte: Dle našich zvědů a špionů je možno parkovat v ulici Nad Kazankou, Praha 7 - Troja, nebo přímo na parkovišti u ZOO. Tam je to dohodnuto s hlídačem parkoviště a poplatek je asi 50Kč/den/hodinu.

Dear family & friends,
below you will find all (we hope) the information you might need about the ceremonial day & its celebrations.

So wedding day # 1, that is, Friday July 10th:

Location: Vineyard of St. Clare

Time: 12:00

Info: The wedding ceremony starts exactly at noon, so it will be good to be around quite a bit beforehand (Sally recommends at least 30 minutes). After the ceremony there will be picture taking of all the attendees & afterward there is the traditional ceremonial lunch in a narrow family circle. Anybody who would like to dance or otherwise celebrate with us in Prague is welcome to join us later in the afternoon (after 5 p.m.)... The entry to the Vineyard of St. Clare is free-of charge to all the wedding attendees. From 7 p.m. on the vineyard gates close & they will only be reopened to late-comers or early-leavers at every whole hour!!!

Transport: There are basically two ways to get to the spot. If you go by car, you can either join the bride's fleet, or the groom's fleet (we are going separately each from their previous home), or you can arrive on your own. The second option is the public transport: the closest metro station is Nadrazi Holesovice (line C), there you get off & walk up in the direction of the Zoo & you take the bus # 112 direction, surprisingly;-), the Zoo! ;-))) You can get off at Kovarna bus stop (the beginning of the vineyard), that's the best for fast approach from the bottom of the vineyard (then just walk up the vineyard). If you get off at the Zoo bus stop, you, again, just walk up, cross the street on the zebra & walk up on this little path for "goats", in the direction of exterior exposition of the botanical garden & St. Clare's Vineyard.

Parking: There are basically two parking options: The parking at the Zoo parking lot is 50,- CZK an hour, the other possible place to park is in the Nad Kazankou Street, Praha 7 - Troja.

Přátelé a kamarádi, v této sekci najdete potřebné informace o průběhu celé radostné události a také o jejích oslavách. Tedy informace o oslavě další den 11.7.2009 (sobota).

Svatební oslava, Sobota 11.7.2009

Místo: parkoviště na Konopišti (sraziště)

Čas: 12:00 – 13:00 (sraz před přesunem ;o)

Info: Na parkovišti najdete nepřehlédnutelné stanoviště na kterém obdržíte indícije a další informace k doražení do cíle. Nelekejte se, ten bude vzdálen maximálně 1km a jde jen o první zábavní hru toho dne. V cíli, na chalupě, kde proběhne oslava bude zajištěno občerstvení (pivo, limo, víno, grilování, brambůrky...). Pokud máte nějakou specielní dietu či jiný apetit, vemte si proviant s sebou. Přes den se můžete těšit na různé společenské hry, tanečky, vystoupení, sportíky a na cokoliv co vás napadne :::

Doprava: Cestování po hradech a zámcích je nám čechům vlastní, tak by to pro Vás neměl být problém se na Konopiště dopravit. Kdyby přeci jenom ANO, pak je tady pár tipu, možností...
*Autem: z Prahy směr Brno,Benešov po D1/E50/E55/E65 - 48.3 km = cca 39min. [MAPA zde]
*Vlakem a autobusem: z Prahy Hl.n. - Celkový čas 1 hod 6 min, vzdálenost 52 km, cena 68 Kč (neúplná cena) [JÍZDNÍ ŘÁD zde]
*Autobusem: z Prahy,Roztyly - Celkový čas 1 hod 20 min, vzdálenost 43 km, cena 38 Kč (neúplná cena) [JÍZDNÍ ŘÁD zde]

Parkování: Na parkovišti. Po objevení cíle a po občerstvení bude možno jedním autem přivézt bagáž z parkoviště na chalupu. Přímo u ní parkovat nelze!

Ubytování: K dispozici je velká louka, kde jsou možné postavit stany všech velikostí! tzn. spacáky a karimatky s sebou. V chalupě spát nelze, ale nabízí toalety a koupelnu s tekoucí vodou ;o) Pro ty, kdo raději preferují komfort zvaný postel, je k dispozici nejbližší Hotel Nová Myslivna, za rozumnou cenu a přímo u parkoviště. Toto ubytování nechť si zařídí (včas) a hradí každý individuelně.

Dear family & friends,

Wedding bash info right here, right now, that is, Saturday July 11th, 2009.

Location: Konopiste parking lot (meeting place)

Time: 12:00 – 13:00 (meeting time before moving to the final destination;o)

Info: At the parking lot, you will discover an unmissable standpoint/post, where you will receive hints & other info that will help you reach the final destination. Don't worry, this won't be further than 1km & this is just about the first fun game for the start of the day. At the destination (at a cottage, at which the bash takes place) there will be, obviously, food & drinks (don't expect 1st class bar though;-). If you are on a special diet or have special tastes, bring your own stuff (we will provide for regular vegetarians only). Throughout the day you can look forward to various games, dances, shows, sports & whatever else crosses your mind:::

Transport: Travelling around castles & chateaux is our national sport so I suggest you stick with some Czechs who will surely know the way! ;-))) Here are some tips just in case:
*By car: from Prague towards Brno, Benesov, take the infamous D1/E50/E55/E65 - 48.3 km = cca 39min. [MAP here]
*By train: from Praha Hl.n. (main station) - duration 1h & 6mins, distance 52 km, price 68 CZK [Train schedule above]
*By bus: from Praha, Roztyly - duration 1h & 20mins, distance 43 km, price 38 CZK [Bus schedule above]

Parking: At the parking lot;-) After the discovery of the final destination & the first refreshment it will be allowed to drive up to the cottage with tents, sleeping bags & similar. There's no parking by the cottage!!!

Accomodation: There's a huge meadow at your disposal, where all kinds of tents will surely nicely fit! That said, it is self understood you need to bring sleeping bags & mats with you! Same as the tent, unless we or our friends provide you with one. Please coordinate with myself & your hosts these days, not on the day of the bash!! There's no accomodation withing the cottage but there are toilets & a bathroom with running water;-) For those of you who prefer the comfort called "bed", Hotel Myslivna is at your disposal at a friendly price & right by the parking lot. Please reserve (on time) this accomodation yourself & also expect it's not sponsored by us.

Quazi Strikes Again

[For English see below] Ubehly dva roky a kousek a je tu zas o CDcko navic. Naposled jsme u Quazi Delict Rec. vydali soundtrack k paradni gamesce Samorost2 a ted je tu hrava MYTHEMATICA s uplne novym a odlisnym pohledem na elektronickou hudebni scenu. Vice o CD nebo i naslechy na strankach QDR ci samotneho autora projektu MYTHEMATICA. Pokud byste 4.kvetna nemeli co delat, tak se v palaci Akropolis odehraje krest desky spolecne s koncertem a naslednou afterparty v podani Quazi boys za gramofonovym pultikem ;)))

After two years & a bit Quazi Delict Records strikes again! A new CD is out!!! One-before-last CD that QDR published was a soundtrack to a wonderfully original game Samorost 2, now a playful MYTHEMATICA follows with a completely new & reinvented view of electronic music scene. Go to QDR website for more info on the most current release plus previews of the songs or to the site of the author of the MYTHEMATICA project himself. & if you are free on May 4th you might as well drop in to Akropolis to witness the baptism of MYTHEMATICA, the concert of which will be followed by an afterparty in the rhytm of the QDR boys as they will be the DJs for the rest of the night! ;-))) Looking forward to seein you there!

Just Another Saturday NOT!

Hey you! So finally back to writing...after planning it for so long & writing in my mind only...
So the other weekend, now more than a month ago, Jena came up with this idea of going on a trip, simply a trip, anywhere I want. Being still winter & me being a girl who loves winter sports, no wonder I wondered at the idea & at first revolted;-) Yet soon I decided to give up another day of cross-country skiing (it would only be the 3rd this year) & we went wherever our Fabijka (Honza's office car) took us. Or better to say, we headed towards Domazlice, which I've mentioned to Honza as a place I've always wanted to see & never did;-) So he took me....& what a blast it was!!!
On our way there, we came across an amazing (although disintegrating) monastery in the little village of Chotěšov - truly enchanting yet also of a sad look. Founded already in 1202, plundered repeatedly before & by the Hussites, it later became a girls' boarding school & served as a sleeping place of the totally deployed women during WW II & after catering to the old for many years, the Czechoslovak army violently moved them out & occupied it. Today part of the monastery belongs to the original friary that historically lived there, the rest is in the hands of the village of Chotěšov.
Being mesmerized by this sudden encounter we drove on to discover the beauty of Horšovský Týn - a nice little town with an originally Gothic castle - seat of the Prague's bishops - now a feast for a Renaissance eye. The town square with its picturesque old burghers' houses with Baroque facades was a great appetizer for what was to come;-)
Domažlice!!! ...are beautiful & tranquil (at least on a cloudy March day;-) & I could not stop taking photos;-))) So many important Czechs actually lived, worked or died there...guess they've fallen for its charm & could not leave. Božena Němcová, the so-called first Czech feminist writer, the authorESS of the famous Babička (Grandma); Jaroslav Vrchlický, once hated by T.G.M. but later considered one of our greatest poets (Nobel price laureate besides other things..); Karel Jaromír Erben, a writer & poet, collector of the Czech folk culture, historian & translator, author of the famous collection of ballads called "Kytice" ("Bouquet")...Domažlice was a custom village already in the 9th century, on an important trade route between Bohemia & Bavaria. The town has till these days remained the centre of Chodsko region, a very specific region with well-preserved traditional folklore. Check out the photos in the album for a clearer picture of what's out there...The words don't exactly match the reality...
When done with the picturesqueness & novelty of Domažlice, we headed to another place I've never been & only knew from the memory cards game: The Chateau of Švihov. A beautiful gothic water-castle close to Klatovy. Wonderful to just walk around at the end of the day & imagine what might have been happening there in the past (all those feasts etc.;-)
Oh, I've completely forgotten about the spa houses hidden among the woods - the so-called "Spa Chateau" & the lake where Rusalka bathed - but we did not walked to it as it was too cold out:( It must have been amazingly calming to live there & then....
Anyway, as we got back to Prague we visited the Sick (that is, my friend Ema), left something for the neverendingly long days & hurried to Na Václavce, where my friend Tomáš celebrated his nameday while the restaurant was serving Japanese food - yami yami;-)))

Snowkiting vol.2

Tak mam zato, ze jsem v predchozim zaznamu Snowkiting vol.1 sliboval, ze bude nejake dalsi povidani a taky ze bylo. Puvodne 2 denni kurz snowkitungu se nam roztahl a tak opet vyrazime na Bozi Dar naucit se neco o vetru a ovladani draka, doufaje ze tentokrat bude foukat. Vyrazime v poklidu sobotniho rana s tim, ze sobota je v nasi rezii a v nedeli pak kurz samotny. Tentokrat mame polovicni sestavu, takze jedeme jen ve 3 + pes. Je nadherny slunecny den se spousty snehu, neb cely tyden padalo a na vikend prestalo. Vyrazime s Barci na bezky a Eda si dava solo vychazku s Bakuli. Opravdu nadhernej den jedine o co mame strach a toci okolo toho tema je vitr. Je temer uplne bezvetri a rikame si zda jsme neprijeli na Bozak znova nazdar buh. Opak je pravdou! Nedelni rano nam dava dostatecne najevo ze dnes bude foukat. Ano foukalo! Foukalo dokonce tolik, ze jsme vytahli na plani nejvic 4m draka, ve finale uz je 'trenigoveho' dracka. Cca po 1,5 hodine marneho preslapovani v poryvech vetru, sily nekde mezi 7-12m/s, balime veci, nakonec i sebe a odjizdime domu. Je osklivo, nemame chut na nic a jedine co nam zbylo je prislib, ze kite kurz muzeme 'jeste' zkusit dodelat v prubehu leta napr na "landkitingu". Chci videt jak se pri nasem stesti stane jeste neco dalsiho. To be continued...
