Přátelé a kamarádi, v této sekci najdete potřebné informace o průběhu celé radostné události a také o jejích oslavách. Tedy informace o svatebním dni 10.7.2009 (pátek).

Svatební den, Pátek 10.7.2009

Místo: Vinice svaté Kláry, Troja

Čas: 12:00

Info: Obřad začíná v pravé poledne, je tedy lepší být na místě s dostatečným předstihem (Sally radí aspoň 30 minut). Po obřadu se plánuje foto všech svatebčanů a poté slavnostní oběd v úzkém rodinném kruhu. V pozdějších odpoledních hodinách (po 17:00) je ke svatebnímu veselí přizván kdokoli, kdo bude mít chuť si zatancovat, či se jinak s námi poradovat v Praze... Prostory Vinice sv.Kláry, jsou behěm svatby dostupné pro návštěvníky/účastníky svatby zdarma. V podvečerních hodinách, jsou prostory ohraničené bránou zamčeny a budou v rozmezí od 19h do cca 24h otevřeny hlídačem vždy jen v celou!!

Doprava: Místo už znáte. Možnosti jak se dopravit jsou dvojí. Automobilem, a to buď v koloně s ženichem či nevěstou, anebo po vlastní ose. Druhou možností je veřejná doprava a to nasledující: nejbližší dostupnou zastávkou metra je Nádraží Holešovice (trasa C) a dále pak autobusem č.112 do zastávky Kovárna, nebo Zoologická zahrada podle toho, odkud budete chtít do Vinice svaté Kláry vstoupit (doporučujeme Kovárnu). V obou případech budete stoupat vzhůru, protože vinice se nachází na kopci! Ze zastávky Kovárna uvidíte vinici a vchod do ní přímo. Ze zastávky Zoologická zahrada se vyrazí nahoru, přejde se šikmý přechod pro chodce a pokračujete vzhůru po „kozí stezce“, sledujíc ukazatele "Venkovní expozice/Vinice sv. Kláry".

Parkování: parkování přímo ve vinici je k dispozici pouze pro nevěstu a ženicha!! a stejně tak příjezd k vinici je obšancován zákazy vjezdu apod. Proto slyšte: Dle našich zvědů a špionů je možno parkovat v ulici Nad Kazankou, Praha 7 - Troja, nebo přímo na parkovišti u ZOO. Tam je to dohodnuto s hlídačem parkoviště a poplatek je asi 50Kč/den/hodinu.

below you will find all (we hope) the information you might need about the ceremonial day & its celebrations.

So wedding day # 1, that is, Friday July 10th:

Location: Vineyard of St. Clare

Time: 12:00

Info: The wedding ceremony starts exactly at noon, so it will be good to be around quite a bit beforehand (Sally recommends at least 30 minutes). After the ceremony there will be picture taking of all the attendees & afterward there is the traditional ceremonial lunch in a narrow family circle. Anybody who would like to dance or otherwise celebrate with us in Prague is welcome to join us later in the afternoon (after 5 p.m.)... The entry to the Vineyard of St. Clare is free-of charge to all the wedding attendees. From 7 p.m. on the vineyard gates close & they will only be reopened to late-comers or early-leavers at every whole hour!!!

Transport: There are basically two ways to get to the spot. If you go by car, you can either join the bride's fleet, or the groom's fleet (we are going separately each from their previous home), or you can arrive on your own. The second option is the public transport: the closest metro station is Nadrazi Holesovice (line C), there you get off & walk up in the direction of the Zoo & you take the bus # 112 direction, surprisingly;-), the Zoo! ;-))) You can get off at Kovarna bus stop (the beginning of the vineyard), that's the best for fast approach from the bottom of the vineyard (then just walk up the vineyard). If you get off at the Zoo bus stop, you, again, just walk up, cross the street on the zebra & walk up on this little path for "goats", in the direction of exterior exposition of the botanical garden & St. Clare's Vineyard.

Parking: There are basically two parking options: The parking at the Zoo parking lot is 50,- CZK an hour, the other possible place to park is in the Nad Kazankou Street, Praha 7 - Troja.

W-Day Info - Day 2&3

Přátelé a kamarádi, v této sekci najdete potřebné informace o průběhu celé radostné události a také o jejích oslavách. Tedy informace o oslavě další den 11.7.2009 (sobota).

Svatební oslava, Sobota 11.7.2009

Místo: parkoviště na Konopišti (sraziště)

Čas: 12:00 – 13:00 (sraz před přesunem ;o)

Info: Na parkovišti najdete nepřehlédnutelné stanoviště na kterém obdržíte indícije a další informace k doražení do cíle. Nelekejte se, ten bude vzdálen maximálně 1km a jde jen o první zábavní hru toho dne. V cíli, na chalupě, kde proběhne oslava bude zajištěno občerstvení (pivo, limo, víno, grilování, brambůrky...). Pokud máte nějakou specielní dietu či jiný apetit, vemte si proviant s sebou. Přes den se můžete těšit na různé společenské hry, tanečky, vystoupení, sportíky a na cokoliv co vás napadne :::

Doprava: Cestování po hradech a zámcích je nám čechům vlastní, tak by to pro Vás neměl být problém se na Konopiště dopravit. Kdyby přeci jenom ANO, pak je tady pár tipu, možností...
*Autem: z Prahy směr Brno,Benešov po D1/E50/E55/E65 - 48.3 km = cca 39min. [MAPA zde]
*Vlakem a autobusem: z Prahy Hl.n. - Celkový čas 1 hod 6 min, vzdálenost 52 km, cena 68 Kč (neúplná cena) [JÍZDNÍ ŘÁD zde]
*Autobusem: z Prahy,Roztyly - Celkový čas 1 hod 20 min, vzdálenost 43 km, cena 38 Kč (neúplná cena) [JÍZDNÍ ŘÁD zde]

Parkování: Na parkovišti. Po objevení cíle a po občerstvení bude možno jedním autem přivézt bagáž z parkoviště na chalupu. Přímo u ní parkovat nelze!

Ubytování: K dispozici je velká louka, kde jsou možné postavit stany všech velikostí! tzn. spacáky a karimatky s sebou. V chalupě spát nelze, ale nabízí toalety a koupelnu s tekoucí vodou ;o) Pro ty, kdo raději preferují komfort zvaný postel, je k dispozici nejbližší Hotel Nová Myslivna, za rozumnou cenu a přímo u parkoviště. Toto ubytování nechť si zařídí (včas) a hradí každý individuelně.

Dear family & friends,

Wedding bash info right here, right now, that is, Saturday July 11th, 2009.

Location: Konopiste parking lot (meeting place)

Time: 12:00 – 13:00 (meeting time before moving to the final destination;o)

Info: At the parking lot, you will discover an unmissable standpoint/post, where you will receive hints & other info that will help you reach the final destination. Don't worry, this won't be further than 1km & this is just about the first fun game for the start of the day. At the destination (at a cottage, at which the bash takes place) there will be, obviously, food & drinks (don't expect 1st class bar though;-). If you are on a special diet or have special tastes, bring your own stuff (we will provide for regular vegetarians only). Throughout the day you can look forward to various games, dances, shows, sports & whatever else crosses your mind:::

Transport: Travelling around castles & chateaux is our national sport so I suggest you stick with some Czechs who will surely know the way! ;-))) Here are some tips just in case:
*By car: from Prague towards Brno, Benesov, take the infamous D1/E50/E55/E65 - 48.3 km = cca 39min. [MAP here]
*By train: from Praha Hl.n. (main station) - duration 1h & 6mins, distance 52 km, price 68 CZK [Train schedule above]
*By bus: from Praha, Roztyly - duration 1h & 20mins, distance 43 km, price 38 CZK [Bus schedule above]

Parking: At the parking lot;-) After the discovery of the final destination & the first refreshment it will be allowed to drive up to the cottage with tents, sleeping bags & similar. There's no parking by the cottage!!!

Accomodation: There's a huge meadow at your disposal, where all kinds of tents will surely nicely fit! That said, it is self understood you need to bring sleeping bags & mats with you! Same as the tent, unless we or our friends provide you with one. Please coordinate with myself & your hosts these days, not on the day of the bash!! There's no accomodation withing the cottage but there are toilets & a bathroom with running water;-) For those of you who prefer the comfort called "bed", Hotel Myslivna is at your disposal at a friendly price & right by the parking lot. Please reserve (on time) this accomodation yourself & also expect it's not sponsored by us.

Quazi Strikes Again

[For English see below] Ubehly dva roky a kousek a je tu zas o CDcko navic. Naposled jsme u Quazi Delict Rec. vydali soundtrack k paradni gamesce Samorost2 a ted je tu hrava MYTHEMATICA s uplne novym a odlisnym pohledem na elektronickou hudebni scenu. Vice o CD nebo i naslechy na strankach QDR ci samotneho autora projektu MYTHEMATICA. Pokud byste 4.kvetna nemeli co delat, tak se v palaci Akropolis odehraje krest desky spolecne s koncertem a naslednou afterparty v podani Quazi boys za gramofonovym pultikem ;)))

After two years & a bit Quazi Delict Records strikes again! A new CD is out!!! One-before-last CD that QDR published was a soundtrack to a wonderfully original game Samorost 2, now a playful MYTHEMATICA follows with a completely new & reinvented view of electronic music scene. Go to QDR website for more info on the most current release plus previews of the songs or to the site of the author of the MYTHEMATICA project himself. & if you are free on May 4th you might as well drop in to Akropolis to witness the baptism of MYTHEMATICA, the concert of which will be followed by an afterparty in the rhytm of the QDR boys as they will be the DJs for the rest of the night! ;-))) Looking forward to seein you there!

Just Another Saturday NOT!

Hey you! So finally back to writing...after planning it for so long & writing in my mind only...
So the other weekend, now more than a month ago, Jena came up with this idea of going on a trip, simply a trip, anywhere I want. Being still winter & me being a girl who loves winter sports, no wonder I wondered at the idea & at first revolted;-) Yet soon I decided to give up another day of cross-country skiing (it would only be the 3rd this year) & we went wherever our Fabijka (Honza's office car) took us. Or better to say, we headed towards Domazlice, which I've mentioned to Honza as a place I've always wanted to see & never did;-) So he took me....& what a blast it was!!!
On our way there, we came across an amazing (although disintegrating) monastery in the little village of Chotěšov - truly enchanting yet also of a sad look. Founded already in 1202, plundered repeatedly before & by the Hussites, it later became a girls' boarding school & served as a sleeping place of the totally deployed women during WW II & after catering to the old for many years, the Czechoslovak army violently moved them out & occupied it. Today part of the monastery belongs to the original friary that historically lived there, the rest is in the hands of the village of Chotěšov.
Being mesmerized by this sudden encounter we drove on to discover the beauty of Horšovský Týn - a nice little town with an originally Gothic castle - seat of the Prague's bishops - now a feast for a Renaissance eye. The town square with its picturesque old burghers' houses with Baroque facades was a great appetizer for what was to come;-)
Domažlice!!! ...are beautiful & tranquil (at least on a cloudy March day;-) & I could not stop taking photos;-))) So many important Czechs actually lived, worked or died there...guess they've fallen for its charm & could not leave. Božena Němcová, the so-called first Czech feminist writer, the authorESS of the famous Babička (Grandma); Jaroslav Vrchlický, once hated by T.G.M. but later considered one of our greatest poets (Nobel price laureate besides other things..); Karel Jaromír Erben, a writer & poet, collector of the Czech folk culture, historian & translator, author of the famous collection of ballads called "Kytice" ("Bouquet")...Domažlice was a custom village already in the 9th century, on an important trade route between Bohemia & Bavaria. The town has till these days remained the centre of Chodsko region, a very specific region with well-preserved traditional folklore. Check out the photos in the album for a clearer picture of what's out there...The words don't exactly match the reality...
When done with the picturesqueness & novelty of Domažlice, we headed to another place I've never been & only knew from the memory cards game: The Chateau of Švihov. A beautiful gothic water-castle close to Klatovy. Wonderful to just walk around at the end of the day & imagine what might have been happening there in the past (all those feasts etc.;-)
Oh, I've completely forgotten about the spa houses hidden among the woods - the so-called "Spa Chateau" & the lake where Rusalka bathed - but we did not walked to it as it was too cold out:( It must have been amazingly calming to live there & then....
Anyway, as we got back to Prague we visited the Sick (that is, my friend Ema), left something for the neverendingly long days & hurried to Na Václavce, where my friend Tomáš celebrated his nameday while the restaurant was serving Japanese food - yami yami;-)))

Snowkiting vol.2

Tak mam zato, ze jsem v predchozim zaznamu Snowkiting vol.1 sliboval, ze bude nejake dalsi povidani a taky ze bylo. Puvodne 2 denni kurz snowkitungu se nam roztahl a tak opet vyrazime na Bozi Dar naucit se neco o vetru a ovladani draka, doufaje ze tentokrat bude foukat. Vyrazime v poklidu sobotniho rana s tim, ze sobota je v nasi rezii a v nedeli pak kurz samotny. Tentokrat mame polovicni sestavu, takze jedeme jen ve 3 + pes. Je nadherny slunecny den se spousty snehu, neb cely tyden padalo a na vikend prestalo. Vyrazime s Barci na bezky a Eda si dava solo vychazku s Bakuli. Opravdu nadhernej den jedine o co mame strach a toci okolo toho tema je vitr. Je temer uplne bezvetri a rikame si zda jsme neprijeli na Bozak znova nazdar buh. Opak je pravdou! Nedelni rano nam dava dostatecne najevo ze dnes bude foukat. Ano foukalo! Foukalo dokonce tolik, ze jsme vytahli na plani nejvic 4m draka, ve finale uz je 'trenigoveho' dracka. Cca po 1,5 hodine marneho preslapovani v poryvech vetru, sily nekde mezi 7-12m/s, balime veci, nakonec i sebe a odjizdime domu. Je osklivo, nemame chut na nic a jedine co nam zbylo je prislib, ze kite kurz muzeme 'jeste' zkusit dodelat v prubehu leta napr na "landkitingu". Chci videt jak se pri nasem stesti stane jeste neco dalsiho. To be continued...
